MyFitnessPal will allow you to track both the calories you’re consuming along with the types of exercising you are doing in order to maximize your progress.
Whether you’re running to lose weight, train for a race, or simply to challenge yourself, RunKeeper will let you pick a run plan specific to you, send reminders based on the running schedule you set, and track your progress every run you take. You’ll no longer have an excuse when it comes to lacing up your tennis shoes and stepping outside.
If you want to take a holistic approach to getting healthy, the Fitbit app is the way to go. You’ll be able to track and log everything — all-day activity, food, sleep, water intake – monitor your progress, and make sure you’re on track to reach your goals. Even if you don’t have a Fitbit, you can still use some of the free features, like tracking your daily steps and distance (you just have to be carrying your phone).
I am a huge proponent of finding a way to work out even when you have a small window of time and no workout equipment. That is precisely what this app will help you do — squeeze in your workout even when you’re on the go and can’t hit the gym. You can pick from workouts ranging from 7-32 minutes and receive additional instruction on form when necessary.
